What Is Medical Ventilator?

In modern clinical medicine, ventilator as an effective means of self artificial ventilation function, has been widely used in respiratory failure, during the operation of various causes of the anesthesia management of respiratory and respiratory support treatment and resuscitation, in modern medical field occupies a very important position. While modern ventilators are computerized machines, patients can be ventilated with a simple, hand-operated bag valve mask. 

Ventilators are chiefly used in intensive care medicine, home care, and emergency medicine (as standalone units) and in anesthesia (as a component of an anesthesia machine).
